Robin saw the psychological thriller “Cut off” from 2018, starring Moritz Bleibtreu and Jasna Fritzl Bauer. The film is the adaptation of a novel by Sebastian Fitzek and Michael Tsokos.
It is about forensic doctor Paul Herzfeld (Moritz Bleibtreu) whose daughter was kidnapped, with all traces leading to Helgoland, which is cut off from the outside world due to severe storms.
Robin’s favorite scene is the autopsy of a corpse by Linda (Jasna Fritzl Bauer), a young cartoonist, who receives her instructions by cell phone in protest from the protagonist.
Although the plot is confusing and unlikely, the entertainment value is flawless.
Not realistic, but exciting.
