Trashy And Iconic: Hammer Films!

Robin complained that Hammer films were trashy and was told “but in an iconic way”.So Robin watched Dracula A.D. 1972 from 1972, starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing.

Fashinwise, in the 70s young people didn’t look much different than in the 90s so the film was somewhat a journey to the past. But the best scene is when the vampire Johnny Alucard perishes in a bathtub and, later, officers from Scotland Yard don’t even bother turning the running water off after ending their investigation.

Accompanied by Knght-Rider kind of music (probably to make it more modern) the film is somewhat iconic indeed. And trashy of course. But Robin believes that fans of Hammer Film Productions would be disappointed if it was any other way.
