The Ghosts of Everest

On the Mount Everest there are about 200 bodies of mountaineers who have died in accidents.

Some act as signposts, others are in crevices. It is too dangerous to take them down – and they knew that the trip would be life-threatening.

300 meters below the summit is “Green Boots” since the mid 90s. Robin thinks that at least a plaque could be put up, but probably even that is too dangerous. Since his death he has been a guide for other climbers. Rest in peace, dear Green Boots.
