Robin heard the singing of countertenor Klaus Nomi (January 24, 1944 – August 6, 1983) for the first time and was enraptured. “The man died of AIDS in 1983, making him one of the first celebrities to succumb to the disease. Visually, he reminds me a bit of Tim Burton’s Edward Scissorhands. It’s a shame he didn’t leave more pieces behind.”
