After Robin saw the outstanding zombie movie Train To Busan from South Korea, he saw the sequel Peninsula. Here are his impressions!
Storyline:
All of South Korea is suffering from a virus outbreak that turns the infected into zombies. In the beginning, the hero tries to reach a rescuing ship by car. A family of 3 wants to be taken along, but the hero drives on. On board, the virus breaks out on the high seas. On land, years later, it is still zombie apocalypse. The hero goes back to South Korea and there meets the mother and her son again, which had not taken on his escape. (Then Robin turned off).
Robin’s Thoughts:
“The movie is pretty predictable. For example, it is clear that the hero will see again people he did not take with him at the beginning.
The rest of the characters are very one-dimensional.”
Verdict:
Avoid!
