Once Upon a Time in the West (1968)

Today Robin comments on the film Once Upon a Time in the West by Sergio Leone, with the congenial score by Ennio Morricone, and Charles Bronson, Claudia Cardinale, Jason Robards, and Henry Fonda in the leading roles.

Storyline:

It’s about a mysterious man with a harmonica (Charles Bronson) and his secret motives. He meets Jill (Claudia Cardinale) the heroine, the villain Frank (Henry Fonda) and a gangster named Cheyenne (Jason Robards).

Regarding the film music by Ennio Morricone: Jill, the man with the harmonica and Cheyenne each have a leitmotif (a guiding theme).
