Matrix

Robin finally had a chance to watch the 1999 movie Matrix with Kaenu Reeves.

 

Robin’s thoughts:
He didn’t think the plot was special. For example, the hero is transported via virtual reality to an artificial world where he dies in a hail of bullets, causing his heartbeat to stop in the real world. The heroine confesses that she loves him, whereupon the heart starts beating again.

Robin also didn’t like the choreography of the fight scenes. On the other hand, he liked the men’s clothes, such as the long black coats, and even the bad guys looked good in their black suits and ties. “In GOTH we trust,” Robin says, “For the Love of GOTH!”

 

Robin’s Verdict:
Very stylish, but dispensable in terms of plot.
