Robin saw the Australian stop-motion comedy-drama film Mary and Max from 2009 by Adam Elliot. Though not sexually explicit, it is for adults.

Storyline:

It is about a long pen-friendship starting with 8-year-old Mary from Melbourne, Australia and 44-year-old Max from New York, USA

Both are misfits from society, Max has also Asperger’s syndrome. Mary is just a lonely girl.

Robin’s Thoughts:

The film is a little too dark for children – which is a pitty.

Verdict:

A masterpiece. Go for it!
