Reports about the Yeti, also known as the abominable Snowman, go back to Alexander the Great (356 BC – 323 BC). Although traces have been found, the creature itself remains largely a myth, like the Loch Ness monster. It is said to be 2-3 meters big and to walk upright on two legs. Maybe it is just a polar bear, maybe it is a large ape. Some people in the Eastern Himalaya (the Lepcha, that is) worship the Yeti as a God. Maybe one day some climbers might find and capture one.
