“Goodnight, Mommy”Posted in - Robin's Reviews
Robin saw the psychological horror film “Goodnight, Mommy” from Austria by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala.
It’s about a mother who comes home to the countryside with her head bandaged and two twins who massively doubt that the lady under the bandage is their real mother.
Unfortunately, the film starts out rather boring, as practically nothing happens. However, in the course of the film a lot of horrible things happen. The plot is full of unforeseeable surprises.
But Robin found the film depressing: “Poor mother! I wouldn’t have done this to mine!”
Weak start but then very nightmarish.
