Robin saw the psychological thriller “Mr. Brooks” (2007) on Netflix with Kevin Costner, Demi Moore, Wiliam Hurt and Dane Cook.

It is about a psychopathic family man (Kevin Costner) who is addicted to murdering strangers and discusses this with a friend (Wiliam Hurt) whom only he can see and hear.

Robin would never have thought that Kostner could play such a dark character so convincingly. Above all he thinks that this Mr. Broooks looks exactly like the former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder.

“Now all that would be left to do would be to have someone play the (for others impercievble) Mr. Marshall (John Hurt) who reminds one of the former Vice Chancellor Joschka Fischer, then the cast would be perfect!”

Robin is optimistic: “Surely a psychological thriller will be filmed one day with someone like Mr. Fischer in the leading role.”
