Lyrics about the Grenfell Tower Disaster!

Posted in - Lyrics & Uncategorized

The Grenfell Tower inferno inspired Robin to do another adaption of the traditional “House of the Rising Sun”. Here are the lyrics!

House of the Grenfell Tower

There was a house in Kensington.
“The Grenfell Tower” its name.
It was the home of guys but then
It all went up in flames.

There was a floor a couple lived,
A old man and his wife.
Tried to escape the raging fire
But they were burned alive.

There was a pretty girl there, too.
She planned to go on a date.
But then the deadly fire burned
For her it was too late.

Some kids, they tried to run away
The flames got higher and higher
But no way out, they died in flames
Right in the burning fire.

All was ablaze and then was night,
A torch the tower was.
It burned until the morning light.
It burned without a pause.

There was a house in Kensington.
“The Grenfell Tower” its name.
It was the home of guys but then
It all went up in flames.
