Robin went to the Harp Restrung the other day, a live club in Folkestone Central, to watch three bands from the Kent area. This night reminded him of wild concerts in uni pubs in the 90ies when rock bands were experimenting with genres such as goth metal like Type O Negative or alternative rock like REM.
The first was Overbear, a three-piece sounding sometimes a bit like Type-O-Negative during October Rust days without keyboards when not doing classic punk-rock without any compromise. Let there be rock! \\m//
Next band was White Heat who did Easy Listening and a good performance.
Last band was Tres Kings that sounded stylistically like their predecessor: Good musicians as well!
The best three bands Robin heard in the Harp since they’ve redecorated the place!
